Whoo boy, I am waaay behind on my blogging. And it’s a sad thing too, there are so many beautiful couples that I’m dying to share with you! The first being this lovely couple, who will celebrate their 1 year anniversary next month!
BECKY & PAUL
THE BRIDALS
Becky and Paul are some of the most fun people I’ve ever met. Becky was set on the beautiful Saltair for their bridal session, and of course it rained all day long – but we decided to go for it anyway and, as the case usually is with Saltair, the storm passed and rewarded us with some pretty spectacular skies and the absence of bugs (my photographer friends know just how bad those can be!). Seriously, Utah skies after a storm are pretty unbelievable.

THE WEDDING
This wedding screamed “FUN.” The longer we talked about the wedding details the more excited I was, as they were planning on a few little surprises. Paul is a raging Seahawks fan, so they chose lime green and black for their wedding colors, and Becky surprised him with a Seahawks groom’s cake. One of Beck’s favorite details was the ribbon backdrop they created for the ceremony, which, paired with tulle draped over the ceremony space, gave a fun and airy vibe. They had a savory food spread, lots of sweets, and lots of dancing; we even had a moose run past the reception, that was exciting! Their cake was my favorite surprise of all, because while you’d expect chocolate or vanilla or the like, these two don’t do things half way: it was rainbow-layered, and everyone cheered and laughed when they cut into it to find that vibrant color. This was definitely the most intense getaway vehicle decorating I’ve ever seen, it took these two a good three minutes just to dig out the stuff enough to get into their car. Oh, and the groom wore a kilt for the reception!
I hope you two had an amazing first year together and that your future is incredible as well!
Special thanks to my awesome second shooter, Rebecca Jaggi Photography!
